Dr. Amy Articolo attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in American History and English literature. She completed her medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she earned the prestigious Ralph J. Onofrio Award for Surgical Excellence upon graduation. Dr. Articolo began her career in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Voorhees, NJ in 1999, where she delivered over 10,000 babies, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In addition to providing compassionate, heartfelt, and comprehensive care to her patients, she participated in outcomes driven Safety and Compliance committees, community-based programs and finally, non-profit Boards such as serving as a Board of Trustees member with the American Academy of Family Physicians focusing on chronic disease, such as Obesity, NASH, and Diabetes. Dr. Amy Articolo began her career at Novo Nordisk, Inc. as a Director for Public Policy and Strategic Alliances in June 2018, where she was able to combine her passions for science, health care, and advocacy to improve lives with access to care. Dr. Articolo is now the Senior Medical Director and Lead for the Liver Health Unit under the Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs Division at Novo Nordisk, Inc. When not working, Amy enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family--her husband, Glenn, their two daughters, Lauren (18), and Leah (17), and their 3 dogs, Waffles, Raven, and Daisy.
