

Andrea Dennis, PhD, is SVP Translational Science at Perspectum, a company that span out of the University of Oxford to commercialise MRI derived quantitative imaging biomarkers. Working primarily as a biomarker scientist, Andrea works closely with the data to explore and evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and stability of imaging data and thus examine biomarker potential for use in clinical pathways and for drug development. Prior to joining Perspectum, Andrea was a post-doctoral researcher at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Oxford University, working on a variety of projects utilising advanced MRI to explore changes in brain structure and function in disease and rehabilitation. Andrea holds an honorary research position at the University of Exeter, researching digital biomarkers for clinical application.
