Lars Johansson is a PhD in translational imaging from Uppsala University and today serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Antaros Medical. Lars Johansson has over 25 years in the medtech and pharmaceutical industry including Sr. Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca. He has over 170 peer reviewed papers in the field of cardiorenal and metabolic imaging and drug development. He has also served as PI and Co-PI of several grants from EU, IMI, NIH, EFSD, JDRF and many others. In his current role he oversees over 30 ongoing interventional studies in the field of liver, renal and cardiac inflammation, and fibrosis.
