

Dr. Khan is an internationally recognized expert in cardiometabolic diseases, cardio-oncology and heart failure. He has authored and co-authored more than 400 peer reviewed publications. He is involved in various pivotal clinical trials and is an associate editor of Heart Failure Reviews, Journal of Cardiac Failure-Intersections and European Society of Cardiology-Heart Failure. Dr. Khan is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, with sub-specialty board certification in Echocardiography, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Nuclear Imaging and Vascular Ultrasound.
Dr Khan is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences on various cardiometabolic topics including obesity, lipids, and diabetes. His work has been published in world’s most prestigious journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Lancet, Nature Reviews Cardiology, Circulation and Journal of American College of Cardiology. His research focuses on drug development and clinical trials of cardiometabolic therapies.
