

Dr. Yun Wang serves as Deputy Division Director for the Division of Biometrics II in the Office of Biostatistics (OB) at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since March 2021. She oversees statistical reviews for therapeutic areas including cardiology and nephrology, diabetes, obesity, general endocrinology, bone disease, and pediatric and maternal health product development. Previously, she was a statistical team leader and reviewer at FDA from 2011 to 2021, supporting antidiabetic and hematologic product development. Before joining FDA, Dr. Wang worked as a senior principal biostatistician at Novartis Oncology (2008-2011) and served as assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh (2005-2008). Her research interests include missing data methodologies and Bayesian design and analysis, among other areas of biostatistical innovation.
